What is the People’s Stage? 

Every year, many Wisdom 2.0 participants ask how they can share their great work, insights, and presentations with our community. We are happy to announce the return of The People’s Stage to our 2017 annual conference.

The People’s Stage is a series of interactive breakout sessions submitted by registered conference attendees and selected by popular community vote. The People’s Stage has space for 130 participants, as it is designed for more intimate, interactive sessions. Sessions are about 18 minutes long.

Description: With the Center for Disease Control and Prevention naming sleep as a national epidemic, over $4 billion dollars spent on prescription sleep aids in 2015, and studies equating the cognitive impairment of insufficient sleep to coming to work drunk, sleep is a hot topic in today's workplace and mindful companies are taking note. Are there other options, besides sleep pods, nap rooms, and incentivizing employees to sleep more, we could be exploring? Are the questions ‘How can I get to sleep quickly?’ and ‘How can I get adequate sleep?’ really addressing the root problem of our fatigue? I am Anne Koller and my talk at the Wisdom 2.0 People’s Stage will present my work as a corporate sleep facilitator using the ancient method, Yoga Nidra, and specifically how the journey to sleep itself unlocks the key to a more rested, creative, focused and productive workforce.
